An application created for the event allowed participants to easily interact throughout the day. Thanks also to a registration system, participants could save their game and quietly submit their score to the OnLine leaderboard.
Some elements of the game were not embedded in the app but in paper format. This increased the immersion in the story and the role of the detective, thanks to newspapers and mysterious decipherers.
To allow listeners to also be part of the event, we made a game for Network One and Network Three.
The listener had to relive the day before the murder and, for each episode, answer a riddle.
Those who answered correctly won a prize.
John Borromeo is an honest and upright man who has devoted his entire life to the business of his cigar factory.
Not surprisingly, although he is a very handsome man, he is single since he has no time to devote to a family.
John won public favor and routed enmities with large donations to the city of Locarno, fostering its tourist development.
Giovanni Borromeo used spalloni to sell cigars in Italy. Seeking greater profits, so as to sneer at his father who had always underestimated him, he commissioned the construction of a submarine called the "Sigaro" to cross the border via lake. A young espalier agrees to test it, but the operation tragically fails, resulting in his death. Stricken by a mixture of guilt and duty, Borromeo adopts the newborn son of the espalier, declaring him to be the unfortunate child of one of his relatives. With the notary's help, he legalizes the adoption and continues his life without revealing the truth.
Federico is a polite, quiet, and very intelligent man. He has a strong sense of irony and, although he speaks little, when he does speak he does so with statements that can be both biting and subtly satirical.
He keeps away from worldly life because he has seen, through his father’s cousin, how false and prejudiced it can be. His days are simple and marked by walking, studying, and helping his father with his chores.
Federico Borromeo grows up desperately seeking the approval of his father, Giovanni, who, however, never shows him affection. One day, while running errands at the port, a boatman complains about a metal object that has destroyed his net. Curious, Frederick approaches and finds a photo that strikes him deeply, as the man portrayed looks very much like him. He thus begins to ask himself questions and, ignored by John, decides to investigate.
The housekeeper, who has always had an affectionate bond with Federico, reveals to him that John had brought him home one night after a mysterious accident. With the woman's help, Federico finds in his father's office a contract with a naval engineer for the design of the "Cigar," a submarine. The document confirms a fatal accident that occurred the same night Federico was adopted.
Frederick thus realizes that Giovanni is not his real father and that, for years, he has sought the approval of a ruthless man responsible for the death of his real parent. Following Giovanni all the way to Camedo, where he encounters the shoulders, Federico confronts his adoptive father, showing him the photo. In a fit of rage, he kills him with a piece of the submarine, thus avenging the death of his real father.
Giovanni Borromeo’s cousin, a woman born into luxury who has no desire to get her hands dirty. She has a gambling habit. Giovanni keeps her only because of a promise made to his Uncle, the only one who has ever shown him affection.

Borromeo’s housekeeper, she has lived in the house since childhood and then filled the role left vacant by her mother. She is so trusted that Borromeo decides to appoint her as the person responsible for his will. She is somewhat of a mother figure that Borromeo never had, the same goes for young Federico.
