The Mysteries of Puncètè is the result of the analysis our Team presented to the Curzùtt Foundation in order to enhance the archaeological site of Puncètè and disseminate educational information about the chestnut, a fruit of great historical importance to the natives who inhabited the settlement.
The solution we proposed was a smartphone application that would allow the user to put himself in the shoes of a real explorer who, after receiving a strange call for help, decides to pack his backpack and head to Curzùtt.
The project is designed to be enjoyed by two target groups, namely adults and families with children, allowing the user to decide the degree of educational depth and difficulty of the game.
To make the experience challenging, we designed a series of puzzles based on both educational and environmental information, taking advantage of the lay of the land to solve them.
The experience consists of a loop route that allows the user to visit all the places of importance in Monte Carasso, tackling several puzzles that will lead the user to advance in history and discover many peculiarities about the Puncètè settlement and the chestnut.
A desperate plea for help that will lead us to meet Agna, the last keeper of the chestnuts.
Only through our courage and ingenuity will we be able to turn around the fortunes of Monte Carasso and its residents.
A mysterious treasure will attract a character with bad intentions, who will try various ways to get us in trouble and to steal what is not his.
Only through our determination will we be able to defeat him before he can cause a real cataclysm.
